Concrete Playground offer
The Concrete Playground $25 voucher is available to guests who sign up to join the Above 8 email list here. The Concrete Playground offer is available between Thursday 15 June and Thursday 20 July 2023. The full terms & conditions for the use of the $25 voucher are available to view here.
Ticketed events
Guests purchasing tickets to pre-paid events at Above 8 (for example New Year’s Eve) are not eligible for a refund or exchange for change of mind on these purchases.
Reservations
Guests will, as a courtesy, agree to contact the restaurant if there are any changes or updates to the reservation, or to cancel. Reservations will be allocated to the best available table at the time of your reservation.
Dietary requirements
Any special requests made will be catered for by the venue as best as possible. Specific allergies may not be able to be catered for in the kitchen, so please call ahead to check and advise.
COVID
Cancellations due to COVID illness will be issued a credit in a form of a voucher upon presentation of a positive test on formal Dr or test lab letterhead.

If you use the Above 8 sites and services, you will receive communication via electronic messages, including email, text message/SMS, or mobile push notifications in accordance with this policy. If you no longer want to be part of the venues customer database or to be contacted in this manner, please contact the venue in which you made the reservation to be removed.
Stay & Sip
Promotion valid from 8 February 2023 until 30 December 2023, unless otherwise notified on the Above 8 website. To redeem the complimentary drink, the guest must be a current guest of Travelodge Hotel Hurstville Sydney – 6/8 Cross St, Hurstville, NSW, 2220. One complimentary drink voucher may be redeemed per room, and must have the guest’s name, room number and date of stay expiry filled out in order to redeem. Available Tuesday-Friday & Saturday lunch only. Complimentary drink includes a glass of sparkling wine, red wine, white wine, beer or soft drink from Above 8 Rooftop Bar & Lounge in house selection which will change based on availability. Voucher only applicable for on-site use. No exchanges, refunds or upgrades to other products on the menu are permitted. Subject to Above 8 Rooftop Bar & Lounge availability. Above 8 Rooftop Bar & Lounge practices the responsible service of alcohol. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or obtain alcohol for, anyone under 18.
